Assistant Professor (non-tenure earning)


The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University (FIU) is currently seeking candidates with PhD, MD, and/or MD/PhD degrees for a Non-Tenure Earning, Assistant Professor position within the Department of Immunology. The selected candidate should have significant expertise in nanotechnology based targeted drug delivery systems with respect to drug abuse and HIV-1 infection, Molecular Immunology, NeuroImmune Pharmacology, development and handling of animal models, and Drug Targeting in Drugs Abuse Research areas. Qualified candidates should also show evidence in research and publication in the aforementioned areas. Expertise in HIV infections is ideal.

Minimum qualifications include PhD, MD and/or MD/PhD degree and at least one (1) year of Postdoctoral Research training in respective fields.
