Postdoctoral Position #1

A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Neuroscience, University of Nebraska Medical Center, to investigating the signaling and molecular mechanisms of HIV infection, viral-bacterial interactions and disease progression. The ideal candidate will be creative, highly motivated, have a doctoral degree with a strong background in microbiology / infectious diseases, molecular and cellular biology, and signal transduction. Prior experience working with laboratory animals preferred. The candidate should be able to design and perform experiments with minimal supervision, critically analyze the results, and help write manuscripts for publications.
