Postdoctoral positions

Postdoctoral positions are currently available in Dr. Toborek’s laboratory at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Miami, Florida. The main focus of our research is on the molecular and cellular mechanisms of injury to the blood-brain barrier. Our vibrant and NIH-funded program includes projects on 1) HIV trafficking in the brain, 2) cerebrovascular toxicity of methamphetamine, and 3) the development of brain metastases. The ideal candidate for this position will be a recent doctoral graduate, who is highly motivated and has expertise in molecular and cellular techniques and/or strong background in animal experimentation.
