Postdoctoral Research Fellow or Staff Scientist

This is a full-time job position. A post-doctoral position is available in Dr. Lena Al-Harthi’s Lab at Rush University Medical Center (Chicago, IL.) to study the role of glial cells in neuroinflammation.

Requirements: Interested applicants should have a PhD degree in neuroscience, with preference in glial biology, and technical experience in advanced immunohistostaining, confocal microscopy, and animal studies.

With supervisor's guidance, successful candidate is expected to independently perform related studies; solve/report scientific/technical problems encountered during research; collect/analyze research data; prepare/present poster/slide presentations for internal progress reports and presentation at scientific meetings; and write scientific manuscript(s) for publication of completed research.

Salary range: Competitive based on experience
